Wings of Change: Navigating the Future of Sustainable Aerostructures – ATLAS Cluster Workshop
On Thursday, 17 September 2026, from 09:00 to 17:00 CET, the ATLAS Cluster Workshop, Wings of Change: Navigating the Future of Sustainable Aerostructures, will take place at the Aragon Institute of Technology (ITA) in Zaragoza, Spain, with the possibility to participate online.
The flagship event of the ATLAS Cluster will bring together five Horizon Europe projects, CompSTLar, TOSCA, PLEIADES, pAIramid and HyperMorpH, to showcase the latest breakthroughs shaping the future of sustainable aerospace composites. Spanning the entire value chain, from novel recyclable materials and automated manufacturing to digital twins, artificial intelligence, virtual certification and next-generation aircraft concepts, the workshop will provide a unique opportunity to explore how these complementary European initiatives are jointly advancing innovation in aerospace.
The event will bring together researchers, engineers, industry representatives, policymakers and representatives of European-funded projects for a day of expert presentations, interactive discussions and networking. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, identify opportunities for collaboration across projects and contribute to discussions on future research and innovation priorities for sustainable European aviation.
