ECCM22 (Oslo, Norway, 21-25 June 2026)

The 22nd European Conference on Composite Materials (ECCM22) took place from 21–25 June 2026 in Oslo, Norway, marking the first time the conference was hosted in the country. Organised by the Laboratory of Advanced & Sustainable Engineering Materials (ASEMlab) at the Norwegian University of Science & Technology (NTNU), ECCM is recognised as Europe’s leading event in composite materials and structures.

The conference brought together researchers, industry stakeholders, and academic experts from across Europe and beyond to discuss the latest advances in composite materials, with a strong focus on sustainability, digitalisation, and emerging industrial applications. Key topics included green and sustainable materials, recycling and repair technologies, advanced modelling, AI-driven engineering, process monitoring, and innovative characterisation methods.

ECCM22 featured a rich scientific programme with keynote lectures, plenary sessions, and technical presentations covering applications in aerospace, automotive, energy, maritime, infrastructure, and sports sectors. CompSTLar partners AIMEN (Spain), Collins Aerospace (Irleand), and NTNU (Norway) took part in the event, contributing to discussions and exchanges on advanced composite technologies and research developments.

Below the presentations delivered by the consortium, which do not include the sessions where partners were chairing:
