ECNDT 2026 (Verona, Italy, 15–19 June 2026)
ECNDT stands for the European Conference on Non-Destructive Testing. The 14th ECNDT took place 15–19 June 2026 in Verona, Italy. It is EFNDT’s flagship NDT congress, bringing together hundreds of researchers, inspection engineers, and equipment manufacturers from all over Europe. The conference’s theme is the future of testing and quality control in industry.
The program included a comprehensive technical schedule of lectures and papers on the latest NDT research (e.g. ultrasonics, radiography, eddy currents, thermography) as well as on practical applications in aerospace, power generation, transportation and civil infrastructure. In parallel, an exhibition hall featured the newest NDT instruments and software (sensors, automated scanners, analysis tools). Organizers stressed that the exhibition “highlights the connection between research and industry equipment” to promote NDT technology and networking.
Keynote speeches and panel discussions addressed topics like AI-enabled inspection, NDT standards, advanced sensor development and inspection of novel composite materials. Attendees – including quality managers and NDT specialists – had opportunities to engage in workshops and hands-on demos.
CompSTLar partner IDEKO (Spain) participated by presenting its NDT-related work (for example, nondestructive evaluation of composites). The conference featured the latest developments in R&D and application of NDT in all major industrial areas. Indeed, the event showcased cutting-edge inspection methods for aerospace and industrial composites.
