JEC World 2026 (Paris, France, 10–12 Mar 2026)

JEC World is the flagship global composites trade show, held annually in Paris. The 2026 edition took place from 10–12 March 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte. As the “leading international composites show,” JEC World gathers the entire value chain: material suppliers, equipment makers, OEMs, and end-users across aerospace, automotive, construction, renewable energy and more. Over 45,000 professionals (in 2025) visited the show, which hosted 1,350+ exhibitors from 100 countries. The theme for 2026 was “Experience the Future of Composites,” highlighting next-gen materials and sustainable manufacturing.

JEC 2026’s program combined a busy exhibition floor with high-level conferences and showcases. Attendees could visit themed pavilions (e.g. start-ups, innovation awards, country pavilions), see live demos, and attend technical sessions on topics like thermoplastic composites, smart manufacturing and digitalization. For example, Fraunhofer researchers presented new lightweight sandwich structures under Fraunhofer’s booth (Hall 5). AMPL Junior Technical Sessions ran in parallel, and the program included EOS Innovation Planets and the JEC Composites Awards.

CompSTLar consortium members were active: AIMEN (Spain), Collins Aerospace (Ireland) and Fraunhofer IPT (Germany) had exhibits, showcasing their latest composite manufacturing projects. MSquare (Spain) joined as a visitor. Overall, JEC World 2026 offered a dense schedule of case-study talks, award ceremonies and tech showcases, making it a key event for composites R&D and industry networking.
