RTX Composites Workshop 2026 (San Diego, USA, 15–17 May 2026)

The RTX Composites Workshop is an industry-focused technical meeting organized by RTX Corporation (formerly Raytheon Technologies) for its aerospace composites community. In 2026 it was held from 15–17 May in San Diego, California. This is a closed, internal conference, not open to the public; it is designed for engineers, designers and managers working on composite materials and structures at RTX and its suppliers. The workshop typically covers topics like advanced fiber-reinforced materials, manufacturing processes, testing, and use-cases in aircraft and defense systems. Participants exchange technical findings, attend project updates and engage in hands-on demonstrations.

CompSTLar partner Collins Aerospace (Ireland), attended this workshop, representing EU research contributions. In general, RTX’s composites workshop complements open conferences by offering a confidential forum where end-users and project partners can share data and progress on RTX-specific composite projects.
